List of Top 10 selling Cars in October 2022 in India:
The list of India’s top 10 best-selling cars in October 2022 is here and as always, Maruti Suzuki has taken the top spot with 7 vehicles on the list, followed by 2 from Tata Motors and 1 from Hyundai motors.
1) Maruti Suzuki Alto:
Maruti Suzuki Alto continues to enjoy being among the top-selling cars in the Indian car market. With 21,260 units sold in October 2022, Maruti Suzuki Alto has secured the first position on the list.

The Maruti Swift regained its position among the top 3. The popular hatchback sold 17,231 units in October 2022 which led to an 88 percent growth over its performance in the same month in 2021. Maruti launched Maruti Swift CNG this year, priced at Rs. 7.77 – 8.45 lakhs (ex-showroom), augmenting Swift’s attraction. In the previous month, this car was ranked in 9th position in the top 10 selling cars list.
4)Maruti Suzuki Baleno:
Maruti Suzuki Baleno became the best-selling premium hatchback in India, selling 17,149 units in October 2022. The popular Maruti car is in its second generation now, and its improved safety and the host of premium features are proving to be strong volume pullers. Moreover, Maruti has recently launched the CNG-powered Maruti Baleno with an ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.28 – 9.21 lakhs. This should help Baleno move up on the list.

The Tata Nexon sprinted past the Maruti Brezza, to become the best-selling compact SUV in October 2022. The total number of cars sold is 13,767 units in October 2022, the Tata Nexon grew its sales by 36 percent over the 10,096 units it sold during the same period last year. The Indian compact SUV has been a grand success since day one and is one of the in India. It is one of the safest cars in India and has scored 5 stars in the NCAP crash test.
6)Maruti Suzuki Dzire:
A total of 12,321 units of Maruti Suzuki Dzire are sold in October 2022 making it the best-selling sedan in the country. The car offers great comfort backed by great fuel efficiency making it a perfect car for the city as well as for those long highway trips.
7)Hyundai Creta:
The Hyundai Creta is the best-selling mid-size SUV and the only Hyundai car to make it to the top 10 selling cars in October. A total of 11,880 units of Hyundai Creta are sold across India in October 2022.
8)Tata Punch:
With sales of 10,982 units in October 2022, the Tata Punch is the second Tata car to make its place among the top 10.
9)Maruti Suzuki Ertiga:
With a total sales of 10,494 units, Ertiga holds 9th rank in the top-selling cars of October 2022. It got facelifted this year because of which there is a growth in sales number. It is the only MPV offering from Maruti Suzuki India.
10)Maruti Suzuki Brezza:
Maruti Suzuki Brezza has managed to get into the top 10 selling cars of October 2022 recording a total sales of 8,032 units across India. Since its update, it is now much safer and has a better build quality.
